Don Bosco Tech Sambalpur is committed to enriching the professional development of its trainees by providing immersive experiences. On March 20, 2024, an enriching exposure visit was arranged to Sai Mushroom Farm Sindurpank, Sambalpur, which proved instrumental in shaping the career aspirations of our Mushroom Grower trainees from Batch - 09.

Accompanied by Mr. Dillip Kumar Behera, our enthusiastic trainees delved into the intricate world of mushroom cultivation under the guidance of Mr. Deepak Biswal, the esteemed owner of Sai Mushroom Farm. Mr. Biswal generously shared his expertise, walking them through every step of the production process.

From various methods of bed preparation to the meticulous care required during cultivation, the trainees gained invaluable insights. They witnessed firsthand the significance of using rice straw for mushroom growing, learned about optimal growing locations, and mastered the art of preparing and maintaining planting spawn.

The interactive session was marked by eager inquiries from our trainees, each met with patient explanations and practical demonstrations by Mr. Biswal. His guidance extended beyond the basics, offering indispensable tips on weather considerations and readiness for different stages of mushroom growth.

As the visit unfolded, our trainees transitioned from theoretical understanding to hands-on application, experiencing the nuances of mushroom cultivation firsthand. It was a transformative experience, providing them with a profound understanding and igniting their passion for the field.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sai Mushroom Farm for their gracious hospitality and unwavering support, without which this enriching visit wouldn't have been possible. To Mr. Dillip (Trainer) and our dedicated trainees, your enthusiasm and engagement made this excursion truly memorable.

At Don Bosco Tech, we remain dedicated to fostering such impactful learning experiences, empowering our trainees to thrive in their chosen professions.
